![]() Originally, the Wrench was a simple silver wrench. But, once the new models were added, the old images were replaced with images of the new models. When the modern GUI for TFC was launched, the graphics used to indicate the player classes were from the old models. Ok, tell me your thoughts, my plot holes, and any other general things to add on.Revisional Differences Changed Class Images RED and BLU has their mercs fight each other and the new enemy. As you can see in both games, RED and BLU don't stop fighting each other in other places even when the agreement is in action. Now the agreement made in Team Fortress Classic in the Escort gamemode, was that RED and BLU would team up to fight a mutual enemy, that mutual enemy in Team Fortress Classic was YLW and GRN, and in Team Fortress 2 it is the Grey Robots. Machine fits into the Team Fortress 2 cannon. This theory helps settle a huge debate amongst the Team Fortress 2 community. That company is the small "mutual enemy" that both RED and BLU go blow up for fun, on the Payload Race map, plr_nightfall. And as one last act of defiance, against their old GRN rival, they used the rest of their money to maintain a small deforestation company. As RED and BLU went to team up on YLW, the remaining enemy, YLW was forced to run and remove all relations to its past as YLW. When the tree-huggers that usually donate to GRN realized what GRN has been using their money on recently, they stopped donating, running GRN out of business. Now GRN didn't have a lot of money, and required donations. When RED and BLU's deal went through, they teamed up. The assassination mission did not work of course, as I will explain. Having the BLU contact killed would ruin the deal, making RED and BLU not agree to team up against additional enemies. YLW takes advantage of this meeting by hiring several assassins, these assassins are the YLW team present in Escort. ![]() I've drawn the conclusion of this being a meeting of the two old rivals by the fact that heavy RED units are protecting a BLU civilian to a truck. Now at this time Redmond and Blutarch have noticed this new enemy, and they seem to have adopted something like the policy, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Blutarch and Redmond have agreed to meet, no the Civilian is not Blutarch, he's just a messenger, and will negotiate an agreement. So YLW uses its nasty grudge and intentions, and attacks both teams in one event. YLW is the team with the grudge and they are having trouble fighting both teams. GRN never had any real personal beef with RED or BLU so they never had a place in any other gamemode. That is why they only have several mercs in a 4-team battle. Both teams simply cannot afford to have full battles with up to 24 mercenaries. GRN just doesn't have a lot because they rely on donations. YLW had more, but still not much because of RED and BLU's occupation of the land they want. That reason is they both do not have a lot of money. There is a reason both YLW and GRN are only seen in the 4-team Deathmatch. GRN's rival YLW, joined the fight, and GRN thought, "Now is my chance to stop YLW!" So now both YLW and GRN are fighting RED and BLU, and it's a free for all. They are an environmental preservation group, and like all of those groups, not very rich, dependent on donations, and have nothing to gain from directly controlling the land. Green Team, abbreviated as GRN and stands for Geographic Reconstruction Network. The two rivals are already fighting, so YLW would only have to join it and then win, I'll get to how they plan on doing that later. But a very large portion of developable land in North America is owned by the two companies RED and BLU. Now, what does a Landscaping company want? Probably land, that it can improve, then make money on. Yellow Team, abbreviated as YLW and stands for Yard & Landscaping Workforce. So that means that Green and Yellow should be around here somewhere, right? Well they used to be, and here's my theory on their part in the story, and what happened to them. In Team Fortress Classic, Green and Yellow teams are canon. As confirmed by the comics Team Fortress Classic is canon in the Team Fortress 2niverse.
